Glos Travel is an editor-led travel journal for international visitors to Japan, published by One Laplace, Inc.

Who is responsible

Every article is read in full by the editor before it is published. The publisher is One Laplace, Inc.

Where the information comes from

Articles are written from primary sources: official websites and announcements, notices from local governments and police, transport operators, and event organizers. Dates, prices, and periods that cannot be confirmed from a primary source are left out.

We do not present social-media posts or reviews as "local voices," and we do not reuse text from official pages or press releases.

Checking

Dates, prices, periods, and proper nouns are checked against primary sources before publication. Articles are produced from those sources with the help of generative AI, and the editor reviews them before they go live.

Each article shows when it was last updated. Articles about events are revised when organizers publish new information.

Japanese and English

Every article is published in Japanese and English at the same time. The two versions are written separately from the same facts, not translated from each other.

Images

We use our own photographs, material supplied by partners, and images released by companies for media use. We do not take images from official websites.

Corrections and contact

To report an error, or to raise a concern about an image or text you hold rights to, write to info@onelaplace.com or use our Contact page. We review every report within one business day and correct errors against primary sources. If a rights claim is raised, the article is taken offline while we look into it.
