Harry Potter × Krispy Kreme Japan 2026: Sorting-Hat Doughnuts, Sticker Waves and Which Stores to Hit

Krispy Kreme Japan has teamed up with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for the first time, and the doughnut case has gone full Hogwarts. From August 21 to September 29, 2026, you can pick up house-themed doughnuts, a Sorting Hat doughnut with a house-colored cream picked at random, and a limited sticker that changes design partway through the run.

If you are timing a Tokyo trip around it, a few details actually matter: the sticker comes in two waves, it is handed out first come, first served, and only one store is decked out for photos. Here is what to grab and how to plan around it.

Every item is limited and sold "while supplies last," so popular stores can sell out of the box (and its sticker) early in the day.

The dates, in short

The collaboration runs from Friday, August 21 to Tuesday, September 29, 2026, or until stock runs out. It is Krispy Kreme Japan's first-ever Harry Potter tie-up, created in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.

You will find the doughnuts at Krispy Kreme stores nationwide, plus a limited lineup at two Harry Potter Mahoudokoro (マホウドコロ) shops. All prices below include tax: the first figure is takeout, the second is dine-in.

The four house doughnuts

Gryffindor Strawberry / Ravenclaw Blueberry / Hufflepuff Butterscotch / Slytherin Chocolate & Pistachio — 486 yen (dine-in 495 yen)

Each of the four Hogwarts houses gets its own doughnut, colored and flavored to match: strawberry for Gryffindor, blueberry for Ravenclaw, butterscotch for Hufflepuff, and chocolate with pistachio for Slytherin. Buy your own house, or grab all four and let the butterscotch and pistachio settle the argument over which one actually tastes best.

The Sorting Hat doughnut

This is the fun one. Inside is one of four milk creams, each matching a Hogwarts house's signature color, with one dropped in at random. You do not know which house you got until you bite in, so the first bite becomes a little sorting ceremony of its own. Buy one for each person in your group and see who ends up in Slytherin.

The Hogwarts Box and the sticker waves

Hogwarts Box (4 doughnuts) — 1,944 yen (dine-in 1,980 yen)

The Hogwarts Box is the one to buy if you want the collectible sticker. Every box comes with one limited collaboration sticker, handed out on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. The design changes across two waves: wave one starts August 21, and wave two starts Friday, September 11. So the sticker you take home depends on when you visit.

Because it is first-come, a busy store can run out of the current design before the day is over. If a specific wave matters to you, go early.

The Golden Snitch latte

A frozen, blended latte dressed up as the Golden Snitch to round out the set. It photographs well next to the house doughnuts, and it gives anyone who's skipping the doughnuts something to order. Note that some stores do not carry the latte, so if it is what you came for, check your branch first.

Most Krispy Kreme locations across Japan carry the collaboration (a few small in-store counters and temporary event locations are excluded), so the nearest shop usually works. Two spots are worth a detour if you want more than the doughnuts:

• The Mahoudokoro shops at Tokyo Station and Landmark Plaza (Yokohama) carry a limited version of the lineup, alongside the Harry Potter merchandise sold there.
• Krispy Kreme Tokyo International Forum is the only decorated store: house banners, a Platform 9¾ brick wall, and a luggage-cart photo spot. If you want the themed backdrop, this is the one to go to. The other stores sell the same doughnuts without the decor.

Good to know before you go

You cannot put a box or sticker on hold, and there is no guaranteed reservation. Everything is sold in-store while supplies last, so mornings and weekdays are your best chance at the full lineup and the current sticker.

You can order the Sorting Hat doughnut for in-store pickup through Krispy Kreme's Quick Order, but the delivery services do not carry the collaboration items. Store hours also vary by location, so check the branch you are heading to.

Krispy Kreme Japan has stores in most major train stations and shopping malls in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and beyond, so it is easy to fit a quick doughnut stop into your itinerary. If you are already visiting the Studio Tour or hunting Harry Potter goods, the doughnuts pair naturally with either.
